League Information

The French League, also called by Frenchies the "Ligue FR", is a friendly league running since the earlier years of LFS on LFS France. It was originally founded by MT-Shark, and since 2008 it moved on the Gcomp plateform build by Gai-Luron, which is also know for his LFS Lapper. It has been managed and ran by many hoster/admins (Shark, Loconstant, Quaid, Momo92i, Worm...), but since 2013, System (Kova.) stayed in charge of it, and has never stopped it despite the lowering grids.
Basically made for french talking people, it has always allowed strangers of another nations to compete in, without any restrictions.
The concept is to take part to a certain amount of events which is an average of 10 to 12 events per season, among which you have 3 jokers, which mean you can miss or fail 3 events during the whole season, they won't be counted. Each event is made by more or less than 4 weeks of pre-qualifying, in which you compete to set your fastest lap on the designed combo at the server, in order to set your grid position. The pre-qualifying ends the night from Sunday to Monday at midnight, french time. And then the following monday at 9:15 pm french time, takes place the race for about 30 mins.

Latest News Update

, by Kova.

Yesterday evening at Westhill, more especially on the Westhill Karting National facilities where a Oval shaped layout was installed, there was some feeling of festivities... Indeed, who says summer time says Summer Tour, as it was time for LFS France to launch its yearly Summer Tour. Again this year, the Lemon Culte, replica of the legendary Citroen C15, was on the menu of the races that were starting this evening. And what better to start this 2025 summer open by having the reigning champ claiming the pole position in the money time? Indeed, L.Rydh clinched the precious sesame in the ultimtates seconds of the qualification, from KingOfIce's hands. But infortunately for Rydh, this pole position will remain in the 2024 Ligue FR champion's hand, as the Swede was infortunately going to miss this round, and will not defend his crown. Donald was completing a 100% GUM Garage first row, in front of Cyk and System for the second row. They were followed by KingJunior, Papator, LeManchot, Mitsu and DLV.

At the start, Donald surprised his team mate by taking the lead of the race, behind, Cyk made it worst for KingOfIce by taking his 2nd place. System wanted to do the same, but KingOfIce decided it was enough! The FSR Team's boss eventually stayed into the GUM Garage driver's bumper until the latter started to set his pace higher. Behind the top 4 guys, there was another King, as KingOfIce's son, KingJunior, was fighting to keep his 5th place. Papator then got the best of KingJunior, imitated a lap later by DLV. But a lap later, DLV thought it was a good moment to flip his car, imitated by Mitsu, they both had to use a reset, sanctionned by a drive through penalty. In that action, it was LeManchot who got a good opportunity by getting 6th place meanwhile KingJunior climbed 7th. In the front, Donald had a very strong lead, Cyk was holding well in his second place despite KingOfIce's great pace. When we were approaching the end of the race, DLV decided to amuse the gallery and gift himself the race 2 pole position by flipping his car another time. But would he be able to see the checkered flag and secure it? A moment later, the checkered flag is waved for Donald who took a dominant win! Cyk ends into a great second place, while KingOfIce could only get a 3rd place. System finishs into a solitary 4th place, in front of Texas Driver's duo Papator-LeManchot while KingJunior finish 7. After DLV's lasts adventures, Mitsu take the 8th when DLV could finally finish his painful flipping race in 9th.

For the second race, as the grid was reversed prior to race 1's results, DLV was starting in pole position! But it seemed like the poor DLV forgot to remove his handbrake at the start, as infortunately, Mitsu, LeManchot and Papator took a better start than him. KingJunior was again holding well in 5th, in front of the fastest group composed by System, KingOfIce, Cyk and Donald. DLV then started to get on a mission to go back to the lead of the race by passing Papator, while Cyk got the best of KingOfIce and System, but the latter wasn't giving his position for cheap and eventually went back to 6th. While DLV took LeManchot's second place, System was getting into KingJunior's bumper when the father was fighting with Cyk, but dropped a position into Donald's advantage. The group of madmens of the pace then had no mercy for KingJunior, as System, then Cyk, and then Donald all passed him in a couple of corners. And a few seconds later, DLV took the lead of the race in front of Mitsu! After KingOfIce passed his son, we infortunately saw the Texas Driver's duo sinking into the ranking. System was then on the temporary's 3rd place, in front of Donald, Cyk and KingOfIce. But as per Cyk's words, System was then "gandalfing" into the 3rd place : you shall not pass! This offered a thight and intense battle behind him between Donald, Cyk and KingOfIce! On the last lap, it was the latter who had a advantage in front of his Lituanian team mate, while Cyk was watching from 6th. And after 22 laps, DLV offered himself a restoration of the coat of arms by taking the race 2's win. Mitsu finished into a strong second place, when behind him, it wasn't over for the 3rd place! Indeed, KingOfIce pulled a muscled but clean forced pass into the last corner on System's, offering Donald the opportunity to get into 4th on the finish line. System had to be only 5th while Cyk take the 6th in front of LeManchot, Papator and KingJunior.

Next race will be held 2 weeks later. We will stay in Westhill for the whole open, and even more for the second round we'll be again in Westhill Karting National. But this time, the crew will remove the oval configuration to switch into a new Rallycross RX typed configuration! 5 races will be attended, where racers will have to participate to 3 of them. More informations will be posted into the Summer Tour's topic. Until then, we wish you a good summer!
